Following the post I made about my Global Underground Cape Town compilation on it’s 25th birthday last month, I received lots of positive messages about how much this compilation meant to so many of you which was so lovely to hear.

There were also lots of people suggesting we should commemorate it properly by throwing another party back in Cape Town, a return to the scene of the crime, so to speak. So, having never been one that needed much of an excuse to throw a party… your wish is my command.

I’m delighted to announce, that in collaboration with Global Underground and Beyond Noize, I’m heading back to the Mother City for a one-off event at Halo on Saturday 18th October where we’ll be celebrating the album and it’s enduring influence with a special 4 hour set.

For one night only, I’ll be revisiting some timeless classics, unveiling a few fresh reworks, and showcasing lots of brand new music that this genre helped spawn, recreating and reimagining a time and place that helped define progressive & melodic house forever.

Additionally, for those unable to attend, the original mixes will be re-released exclusively in partnership with Apple Music, hopefully ensuring GU016: Cape Town continues to inspire and resonate with music lovers worldwide for another 25 years.
