I’m very pleased to say that the LUSH!Classical show I’ve been involved in putting together for the last few years in Belfast alongside a very talented team has been broadcast by the BBC and is now available on the iPlayer.

I’ve never been particularly into the idea of Classics nights, I always get a much bigger buzz playing new music than trying to recreate memories of yesteryear. I think people that moan that things are not as good as they used to be tend not to be as good as they used to be but the idea of creating a set of old favourites and then turning that into a full live show with a 60 piece orchestra is something else entirely. Making something new out of the old, literally breathing new life into these anthems, giving them a whole new energy and perspective has been a thrill ride and we look forward to doing it all again soon when we return to the SSE Arena Belfast on October 16th.
