In all the excitement of a string of festivals and Ibiza gigs, plus the small matter of moving house in recent weeks, I’ve hardly hard chance to wax lyrical about our current Selador project which marks our 200th release on the label.
To celebrate, Steve & I invited a bunch of friends, old and new, to rework some of our own productions (6 of mine and 6 of Steve’s) that have graced the label over the past 12 years and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Released across three 4 track EPs throughout August, this collection of reworks encapsulates the long standing Selador mantra… From House to Techno and all flavours inbetween.

Reaching 200 definitely feels like a milestone that should be celebrated. There’s not many that reach a double century. I never made it that far with my pervious record labels, Stress or Audio Therapy, and arguably running a successful electronic music imprint these days is harder than ever, so quite rightly, we are proud as punch of our achievement. It’s been a labour of love for sure. At times, we’ve questioned our sanity but somehow we’re still here and look forward to the next chapter in the Selador story.
Thank you to everyone who has shown their support to the label along the way.
Viva Selador Acid House Forever!
